Presentation Category:

Session Type:
CPA Session
Presentation Description:
In this hands-on workshop, participants will create projects using "Comic Life," an affordable, effective computer program that allows teachers of all disciplines to teach media literacy in the context of regular curriculum. Participants must bring a Mac laptop and a digital camera to the session and they will need to be able to transfer digital photos from their camera to their laptop. (Cell phone cameras are fine and so is sharing a laptop with a group of two or three people.) We will begin by downloading a free trial version of Comic Life from plasq.com at the start of the workshop.
