Antelope Valley High School District began offering singleton CTE classes four years ago. This small pilot program has now expanded into the high school's Virtual Academy Charter, where complete pathways are offfered in Public Service, Health Science and Business. The district is also a AB790 Linked Learning pilot with a goal of expanding within the virtual landscape. Offering the pathways in this setting has allowed for increased access to rigorous college and career programs for all high school students in the district. Learning in an online setting also improves students digital literacy and prepares them for the workfroce of the 21st Century.
