Presentation Description:
The goal of this workshop is to improve the understanding of educators of the education and career opportunities for young people to achieve high tech training in high demand careers in the US Army with a focus on STEM. This workshop will illustrate the careers available from arts to the sciences; intelligence to combat, computers to helicopters, engineering to law — there’s no limit to achievement. For individuals with particular aptitude for science, technology, engineering or mathematics, the Army offers careers and jobs that will put analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to the test. Included in the session will be testing (ASVAB, CEP), ROTC, and college payment options. Participants will have an opportunity to gain new insight on the over 150 careers offered through the Army and have the opportunity to ask questions.
