This presentation is geared towards new academies needing some survival strategies for their first year of academy implementation. It includes but is not limited to student and teacher recruitment, advisory board planning, field trips, handbook development, team building, college articulation and writing the annual CPA report. This presentation is based on the presenters’ own experiences and challenges in their years of being in an academy.
