Career Readiness via Project Based Learning

Presentation Category:
Career Pathways / Industry Sectors
Session Type:
CA Career Pathways Session
Presentation Description:
In an effort to increase connectedness to their futures, Roadtrip Nation developed a project-based career exploration curriculum called The Roadtrip Nation Experience. This self-discovery program guides youth to explore their unique identities and discover pathways aligned with their interests. A recent evaluation of the curriculum by the Education Policy Improvement Center (EPIC) revealed two key findings: 1) The Roadtrip Nation Experience significantly increases student self-efficacy, and 2) The curriculum contributes to a concrete increase in GPA, as well. We will also be focusing on transitions and what it means to make students career ready. Join Roadtrip Nation as they share their story, program insights, and student impact from the last 6 years.
